Biography of Joseph Keegan

Joe was born and raised in Holbrook Massachusetts & grew up on a lake, so he enjoys fishing, boating, swimming and most of all hockey. Joe met his wife, and they were married 3 years later. They purchased their 1^st home there, then built a home in Abington, Ma, raised 3 children and stayed there for 29 years. Joe & Mary recently sold the house in Abington moving to Hull, Ma to fulfill a dream of living by the ocean.

At 15 years old Joe got a job making South Shore Bar Style Pizza at a local restaurant in Holbrook. After high school, he worked driving trucks and delivering beer for 15 years. He decided it was time for a change, so at night he attended Clark University Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer training, working for 3 years for the FDIC in the IT support department. He then ventured out in January 2000, launching his first business lasting for 17 yrs.

He then sold the company & decided on a new challenge to open a restaurant. He, along with his son, opened a pizza shop using the recipe he had been making pizza at home with for some 45 years. Five days prior to opening, Joe was whisked into Boston for emergency quadruple heart bypass surgery.

This of course slowed the launch of the business, but 4 months later he was open for business which quickly became quite successful. In January 2024, Joe came on board with First Choice Business Brokers and sold the pizza business as his first listing with FCBB.
